Overnight guests of The Pine Lodge can take advantage of our complimentary shuttle service! The shuttle is available with a 24 hour notice from 7a to 11p for the airport and Amtrak station. Our shuttle service operates year-round. Please contact the hotel directly to schedule by calling 406.862.7600.

No matter what the weather is like outside, our indoor/outdoor heated swimming pool is always open! There is a swim channel connecting the indoor area with the outdoor pool, so you’re welcome to go indoors or out as you see fit. We also have a hot tub by the outdoor pool so you can enjoy a relaxing soak after a long day out exploring Whitefish and Glacier National Park!

We built a dock behind the hotel so guests can explore Whitefish from a unique perspective – on the Whitefish River! Kayaks, Double Kayaks, Paddleboards, and Pedal Boats are available to check out for a self-guided tour of the river. Life vests are included. Watercraft can be checked out on a first-come-first-served basis (watercraft cannot be reserved in advance). Available May 15 – October 15, 8a to 10p (weather permitting). Use of this equipment is FREE for all overnight guests.

Complimentary bicycle rentals are now available at The Pine Lodge! Whether you are a skilled cyclist or simply want to re-live some memories from your childhood, riding a bike is a fun way to get some exercise and stay in shape while also exploring some of the most beautiful scenery Whitefish, MT has to offer. Four cruiser bicycles and two kid’s bicycles are available for checking out. Helmet rental is included. Bicycles can be checked out via the hotel Front Desk on a first-come-first-served basis (equipment cannot be reserved in advance). Available May 15 – October 15, 8a to 10p (weather permitting). Use of this equipment is FREE for all overnight guests.

No visit to the Pine Lodge would be complete without toasting some marshmallows over our outdoor fire pits! Two propane fire pit tables were recently installed on our deck behind the hotel, where you can stay warm on cool evenings or just relax and enjoy a peaceful fire under the night sky. Gather with other Pine Lodge guests and share stories of your day’s adventures in Whitefish and Glacier National Park. To make things even better, S’mores kits are available from the Front Desk — at no additional cost!

When you’ve had your fill of exploring outside, take a break from the action in our game room, The Den. This facility is FREE to use for all overnight guests, and contains a pool table, shuffleboard, a selection of board games, and more. Challenge your traveling companions to a friendly game, and enjoy the spirit of competition!

Fuel up before you head out on your day of adventure, available from 6a to 10a daily! During our lobby renovations in spring 2025, our complimentary continental breakfast for overnight guests is available in The Den game room and includes microwavable breakfast sandwiches and various continental items. Post renovations, breakfast will be offered in the hotel lobby and again include continental items as well as hot, freshly prepared sausage patties, diced pototatos, and eggs.

When you’re ready to hit the slopes, nearby Whitefish Mountain Resort is your destination! Our complimentary Ski Van service will get you to and from the resort, and unlike other shuttle services in the area, our Ski Van makes no additional stops, giving you a direct commute up or down the mountain. As an added bonus, lift tickets are also available for purchase right at our Front Desk! Save yourself some hassle during the busy morning rush, and buy your lift tickets here at The Pine Lodge before you head out. Ask about our daily Ski Van schedule at check-in.

During the winter months, we have four pairs of snowshoes that can be checked out if you’re interested in taking a walk through our local winter wonderland. Snowshoeing is a fun and easy way to explore Whitefish during the winter, and today’s snowshoes are a far cry from the clunky equipment of yesteryear; they’re easy to slip on and off, and take about two minutes to master. Snowshoes can be checked out via the hotel Front Desk on a first-come-first-serve basis (snowshoes cannot be reserved in advance). Available daily during the winter season, 8a to 10p. Use of this equipment is FREE for all overnight guests.

After traveling through the wintry Whitefish landscape, nothing warms you up quite as nicely as a rich cup of hot chocolate. Our Après Hot Chocolate Bar is open Sunday-Thursday in the lobby from December 7 through April 10. As part of our White Glove Experience, this comforting and delicious winter amenity is provided free of charge to all overnight guests during this timeframe. A complimentary mug (one per reservation) will be waiting for you at check-in to use at the Hot Chocolate Bar. Stop by and join us for a cup!

The Pine Lodge is dog-friendly! We hope you and your pup have an enjoyable stay with us. Pets are allowed on first and second floor rooms only. Please call the hotel directly for pet room reservations. Based on the availability of pet friendly rooms. Up to 2 dogs per room with an 80-pound weight limit. Pet rate is $25 per day with a $100 per week maximum.
