Traveling via Plane, Train and Auto
Direct Flights into the Glacier Park International Airport (FCA):
- Alaska Airlines (Horizon Air) offers daily service through Seattle.
- Allegiant Airlines offers twice weekly, non-stop service to Las Vegas. Beginning May 15, 2019, Allegiant has announced new year-round service from Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport (AZA) to Glacier Park International Airport (FCA).
- Delta Connection service operated by SkyWest Airlines offers daily, non-stop flights through Salt Lake City and Minneapolis. Seasonal Service through Atlanta.
- United Airlines offers daily service through Denver. Seasonal service through Chicago.
- American Airlines will offer direct flights from Chicago O’Hare, Los Angeles LAX, and Dallas/Fort Worth
Arrive via the Amtrak Empire Builder
The Whitefish Train Depot is less than a mile from our hotel. The “Empire Builder” offers daily service from the east and the west.
Fly and Drive From Calgary
Visit Banff, Lake Louise, Fernie, or several other Canadian summer and ski resorts. Drive to Whitefish (an easy winter drive from Fernie), enjoy our lodge, and fly out of Glacier International Airport.
Free Entry for US Military and Veterans!
Veterans and active members of the US armed forces now receive FREE entry to Glacier National Park and most other federal recreation sites!
Active military members can receive a free Military pass by presenting your current US military ID at the entrance.
There is not a pass specifically for Veterans. However, veterans now qualify for free entry into federal parks. Veterans will need to present one of the following forms of ID where entrance fees are collected:
- Department of Defense Identification Card (CAC Card)
- Veteran Health Identification Card (VHIC)
- Veteran ID Card
- Veterans designation on a state-issued US driver’s license or identification card
